I had so many plans for this essay but I woke up with a raging headache that threw off my entire schedule. Analgesics did nothing. Coffee didn’t help. Neither did breakfast.
I couldn’t let the day go by and pushed through tasks with the throbbing pain pulsating through the center of my face. I wrapped up some emails and finished whatever was urgent despite the headache. The day felt long and belabored. I needed a break.
The air in my apartment felt a bit dry so created a steam room in my bathroom with some eucalyptus oil after finishing the most pressing items on the to do. In less than five minutes, my head was clear and I was energized.
The solution was so simple I almost missed the boat. Today was all about learning to navigate when the unexpected pops up and gets in your way. I managed but I left this essay for last. There were more pressing things to answer to. And then time just slipped away afterwards. I guess it just wasn’t the right time to discuss what was in my mind.
Next week I’ll tell y’all about sailing away to greener pastures. Until then, good night.
